Pistachio: Sicily's green gold
No product represents Sicily quite like the pistachio. Cultivated on the slopes of Etna for centuries, among lava flows and stone terraces, the Sicilian pistachio has conquered kitchens worldwide with its intense emerald colour and unmatched flavour.
Our Pistachio Cream is born from this excellence. No colourants, no artificial flavours: just real pistachio, processed with respect to enhance every nuance of taste.
Why this cream is different
The market is full of pistachio creams, but the difference lies in the percentage of pistachio and the quality of ingredients. Our cream makes no compromises: pistachio is the absolute star, not an extra masked by artificial colours and green dyes.
The consistency is thick and creamy, with a fine grain that makes it perfectly spreadable. The colour is the natural shade of processed pistachio: a green-brown that guarantees authenticity. Beware of bright green creams — that colour doesn't exist in nature.
In the kitchen and at the table
- Sicilian cannoli — The classic filling of Bronte pastry shops. A cannolo with pistachio cream is a mystical experience.
- Brioche and croissants — Filled warm, they release an irresistible fragrance.
- Ice cream base — Melted in a bain-marie and mixed with cream, it becomes artisan gelato in minutes.
- Pasta sauce — Diluted with a little cooking water, it creates a quick, indulgent pasta cream.
- By the spoonful — Let's admit it: it's the best way. No judgement.
In Bronte, pistachios are harvested only in odd years, between late August and early October. This biennial alternation allows the tree to regenerate and produces more concentrated, flavourful nuts.
Available in two sizes
We offer the Pistachio Cream in a 100g jar — perfect for trying it or as a gift — and in a 200g jar for those who already know that one jar won't be enough. Because it never is.
One product, one promise
Every jar contains the promise of authentic taste, with no shortcuts. Sicilian pistachio deserves respect, and we give it: from selection to processing, right up to the jar that arrives at your table.
